We're looking to hire a content intern to help with our comms and content strategy

Who are we?

K Fund is a venture capital firm supporting entrepreneurs from idea to IPO. We believe in contrarian visionaries and relentless founders building tools and services powering the society of the future; focusing on software, fintech and data solutions. At K Fund, we are a team of 15 professionals with a diverse and unique skill sets with previous experience in leading, creating and investing in some of the best digital companies for over the last 20 years.

We are a family in constant communication learning one from another and always willing to learn about new technologies and business.

What do we believe?

We believe that entrepreneurs are the driving force behind change and progress in the world. Those who some call crazy, those who nobody believes, but who create and transform industries and society. They are designers, artists, engineers... it is not about what they studied, it is about how they think.

We believe that we must put the Internet and new technologies at the service of people and thus generate value for our economy. That in Spain we have a lot of talent and therefore a great opportunity if we know how to take advantage of it.

We believe that the role of venture capital is not to finance companies, nor even to know about technology, because technologies change. Our role is to help develop people and business models, to build global, solid and profitable companies. That is why it is a privilege that the best entrepreneurs choose us. That is why we are convinced that we must give before we receive.

We know that many adventures will go wrong, but many others will go right, that's how venture capital is. That's why we have patience and give time for companies to mature.

That's why we want to win by doing things right.

If you want to learn more about K Fund we encourage you to visit our website and read our manifesto.

What are we looking for?

Since the very beginning, being transparent with the way we work and think has been one of our core values.

Since 2016, we’ve published more than 160 podKasts (with almost 1M downloads combined), tens of blog posts, several reports on the health of the Spanish startup ecosystem and we’ve put together lots of small and large events for our portfolio companies, LPs and the community as a whole.

We now want to push the envelope and do more and better things.

We are looking for talented, passionate, creative and ambitious students and recent graduates who want to keep learning and discovering from the front line of innovation and disruption.

As a part of our organization, you will work with our content team to think, produce and edit amazing pieces of written and audiovisual content on some of the most iconic companies and entrepreneurs in Spain, Europe and Latam.

This is not a stay-in-the-sidelines kind of job.

You will get to meet and interact with the best entrepreneurs and companies, increasing your knowledge and network at the same time. On some occasions, you will also get to attend our internal meetings, as well as meetings with prospective portfolio companies.

We think this role could apply to people from very different backgrounds and education. We’re obviously interested in recent graduates or students in the fields of journalism, audiovisual communication and marketing, but the role is open to anyone who’s curious, willing to learn and knows a thing or two about producing good written, audio and video content.

Here are some examples of the types of content that we usually publish:

What will you be doing?

This is a 6-month part-time position. As a content producer, you will get the opportunity to:

  • Be an integral part of our content team, from the idea to the post production phase.
  • Come up with interesting topics to cover, directly produce such content and help in its distribution.
  • Actively participate in our podKasts, both as an interviewer and also to take advantage of recorded interviews to use them in other formats (blog posts, etc).
  • Write profiles of companies and entrepreneurs.
  • Think about new forms of content and channels that we could produce and be directly involved in.
  • Provide support in fund-related projects such as reports, presentations and brand-building efforts
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment in one of our hubs in Barcelona, Madrid or Lisbon. This can also be a remote position, but you’ll probably get more out of it by being in the office from time to time. You’ll work under the leadership of Jaime Novoa, our content specialist, but will also get to work with the rest of our amazing team. English and Spanish proficiency is a must!
  • And have lots of fun!

Required skills It would be great if you…

  • Have some experience recording and editing audio and/or video. To record our podcasts, we mostly use Zencastr (for remote) and a Zoom H6 with some basic mics when it’s in-person recording. For editing purposes, we use Garageband and, to publish, Soundcloud
  • Are familiar with Webflow or similar content management systems. Our website and blog is hosted on Webflow, but if you’ve published stuff online before but not on Webflow, I’m sure you’ll be familiar with our system too
  • Enjoy writing content and know your way around Twitter, TikTok and LinkedIn
  • Like technology, entrepreneurship and startups. Having said that, it’s not a requirement that you know about these topics!!!

How can you apply?

If you want to be part of K Fund, please send your CV and Cover Letter to content@kfund.vc

We know that cover letters can take some time but we think they’re a great way to get to know more about you and your personal and professional interests.
