Visiting Analyst Program - Autumn 2026

The Kfund Visiting Analyst Program exists to find and train the next generation of venture capital investors. It's an invitation for students, recent graduates and early-career professionals —from consulting, operating roles, or anyone itching to trade their current track for a front-row seat in venture capital— to sit alongside the team backing the founders shaping what comes next, and to learn how this world really works from the inside.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for talented, curious and ambitious students and recent graduates who want to keep learning from the front line of innovation. You don't need a background in finance or tech to apply: we're happy to hire people who come from the arts, history, life sciences, mathematics, business and everything in between. What matters to us is a curious mind, someone who genuinely enjoys figuring out how new products, markets and business models actually work. If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.

Venture capital is a field with very specific dynamics, the kind you don't pick up at university or in most other jobs. For that reason, we expect the first few months to come with a steep learning curve, and we're completely fine with that. If you're proactive and eager to learn, we'll teach you (at your own pace) how the industry works, the inner dynamics of a venture capital fund, and what we look for when evaluating an opportunity. You'll work closely with our investment team sourcing, meeting and assessing some of the brightest founders in the region, while sharpening your ability to turn messy problems into clear analysis, communicate your thinking in writing, and develop the judgment that tells a good deal from a great one.

Team fit is essential to us. Because we assume no prior knowledge, what we really care about is who you are: curious, sharp, fun to work with, and with a strong academic track record. We're a small team that values attention to detail, proactivity and open communication, and we're looking for someone who'll become one of us, not just an intern passing through.

For those who perform exceptionally well, there may be a chance to step into a full-time analyst role. We want to be upfront that this isn't guaranteed: it will depend on the company's hiring needs at the end of the program.

  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment in our Madrid office.

How can you apply?

If you want to be part of our team, send us an email at visitinganalyst@kfund.vc with two things:

  • Your CV.
  • Something (anything) that proves you'd be fun to share an office with and sharp enough to argue with. A memo, a tweet thread, a meme… your call. Be original.

Cover letters are optional: we'll only look at them if your CV and attachment are exceptional.

We go through every application, one by one, so we appreciate it when you take the time to prepare yours. And we especially value authenticity: we like people who know how to use AI well, but here's the thing: if we can instantly tell that what you sent is fully AI-generated, that means you're not actually good at using it.

The process, end to end, usually takes around three weeks to a month. Here's what to expect:

  • Applications are open until Monday, July 6.
  • If you make it past the initial screening, you'll hear from us on July 7.
  • From there, the process is usually:
    1. A first call to get to know you and see how you'd fit with the team.
    2. A case / interview where we look at how you reason, how you approach problems, and your attention to detail. We'll share more about the case if you make it through the first call.
    3. A final chat with one of our GPs.

About Kfund

Who are we?

Kfund is a venture capital firm supporting entrepreneurs from idea to IPO. We invest in early-stage tech companies across all sectors, with a focus on software and enabling technologies, backing contrarian visionaries and relentless founders building the products that will define their industries.

We are a tight team with diverse and unique skillsets, with previous experience leading, creating and investing in some of the best tech companies over the last 20 years. We are a family in constant communication, learning from one another and always eager to learn about new technologies and business models.

What do we believe?

We believe entrepreneurs drive the most meaningful change and progress. The good ones rarely fit a mold, they come from all kinds of backgrounds, and what matters isn't what they studied but how they think and operate.

We don't think VC is just about writing checks or knowing the latest technology, since technology keeps changing. Our job is to help founders build the teams, processes and business models behind a company, with the conviction and patience to back things that take years to play out, and the honesty to know that most bets won't work out, but the few that do will matter a lot.

If you want to learn more about Kfund we encourage you to visit our website (https://en.kfund.vc/) and read our manifesto (https://en.kfund.vc/manifiesto).

We can't wait to meet you!

*Kfund is currently unable to sponsor work visas for this position, applicants must already have the legal right to work in a European Union country at the time of application. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and nationalities, provided they hold valid work authorization within the EU. Unfortunately, we're not able to consider applications that would require visa sponsorship, either now or in the future.
