We’re hiring: Kfund Visiting Analyst Program — Fund of Funds

No items found.

The Kfund Visiting Analyst Program is dedicated to finding, meeting and training the venture capital investors of the future. This is an opportunity for students and recent graduates to learn from and meet with the global fund managers that will shape the venture capital industry in the years to come.

Who are we?

Kfund is a venture capital firm supporting entrepreneurs from ideation to exit. But we also invest in those who back them: through our funds of funds MVB and Orion, we build portfolios of the best-in-class venture capital managers across the United States, Europe and beyond, as well as growth-stage company co-investment opportunities.

We are a tight team with diverse and unique skillsets, with previous experience leading, creating and investing in some of the best tech companies over the last 20 years. We are a family in constant communication, learning from one another and always yearning to learn about new technologies, fund management strategies and business models.

What do we believe?

We believe that entrepreneurs are the driving force behind change and progress in the world. And we believe that behind great entrepreneurs there are great fund managers: identifying, analysing and backing the best investment teams is as important as investing directly in companies.

We believe that the role of a fund of funds is not simply to deploy capital, but to deeply understand the market environment, as well as the strategies, track records and portfolio dynamics of each manager. Building a solid, diversified and profitable portfolio demands analytical rigour and the ability to look beyond immediate metrics.

If you want to learn more about Kfund, we encourage you to visit our website (https://en.kfund.vc/) and read our manifesto (https://en.kfund.vc/manifiesto).

What are we looking for?

We are looking for talented, passionate, ambitious and detail-oriented  students and recent graduates who want to keep learning from the front line of institutional venture capital.

As part of our team, you will work with our Fund of Funds team, analysing managers, fund structures and co-investment opportunities. You will also play an integral part in diligently reporting to our FoF investors, drawing key insights into our portfolios and market dynamics. We value attention to detail, an analytical mindset, proactivity, curiosity and open communication.

We encourage anyone excited to learn about venture capital, fund management and markets to apply, no matter your background – from arts to maths, from business to history. If you have  a curious mind who enjoys understanding how financial markets and investment dynamics work, we would love to meet you.

What will you be doing?

As a 6-month Fund of Funds Visiting Analyst, you will:

  • Work closely with our investment team (and potentially on your own) in the analysis and due diligence of venture capital managers.
  • Conduct analysis and research of investment strategies and track records of fund managers, as well as financials, competitive landscape and platform propositions of  co-investment (direct) opportunities.
  • Proactively develop market research on venture capital trends, manager benchmarking and asset class dynamics.
  • Support in fund-related projects such as LP reporting, NAV valuations, presentations and brand-building.

How can you apply?

If you want to be part of Kfund, please send your CV and Cover Letter to visitinganalyst@kfund.vc. We know that cover letters can take some time but we think they're a great way to get to know more about you and your personal and professional interests.

We are waiting for you!!!
